Despite the carefully curated décor, the house is very much a family home, warm, welcoming, and full of character. With our three small boys and pets, the house is a beacon of beautiful chaos. We don’t pretend that we, or the house, are manicured perfection. We believe in loving the space we live in and sharing it with others. Since we have lived here, we have brought the local community together, hosting open garden parties and festive gatherings.

We are considering future renovations at Oakley House; therefore, we’re happy to embrace your artistic freedom for larger bookings to transform the space as you wish. The house also benefits from an extremely large third reception room that is ideal for shoot storage.

Externally, there's also plenty of parking for up to 10 vehicles. For the duration of bookings, the family will vacate the property but be on hand for any helpful advice or guidance required.

As well as the beautifully designed Georgian areas of the house, with plenty of room for pull back space.

There are old wooden floors, period fireplaces, modern artwork, wood-burning stoves and plenty of lovely props and furniture. We can provide a list of local shoot-stylists, photographers, etc if required.

Within the grounds there is also a stunning Georgian brick greenhouse, with far-reaching views over the valley.

Upon request, we also have a beautiful vintage VW campervan available for shoots. 

There is also a very handy little pub a few doors down that serves food, as well as a village shop and post office. The village hall is our direct neighbour and is perfect to provide extra space for larger film shoots, toilets, kitchen, parking etc for a very small fee.
